The Triad of Health
Healthy people recognize that health stems from three important facets of life… the mind, the body and the spirit. If any one of these elements is out of balance, then sickness, chronic pain or other ailments may result.
After reading this special report, be sure to read your seven part e-course on herbal remedies and natural self care strategies. This guide is an essential tool in your quest toward better health. Herbal remedies are very important for balancing the three critical aspects of our wellness: the body, the mind and the spirit.
While the e-course and the website focuses primarily on the benefits of nutritional supplementation & herbal therapy for physical symptoms, it also contains some information on using aromatherapy and other alternative approaches toward medicine to help balance one’s body, mind and spirit.
This special report will dig a bit deeper into the triad of health and explain how the mind, body and spirit relate to one another to maintain wellness. Here you will learn how to change your attitude and focus about health to improve your overall wellness.
We’ll begin our discussion by talking about the mind.
Do you feel depressed? Are you overly anxious? Perhaps you suffer from incessant worry from day-to-day. These feelings are expressions of our mental state, suggesting our mind is not in balance with the rest of our body.
Often when our minds are not balanced, we experience physical symptoms. A depressed mind may give way to feelings of chronic pain,
fatigue or restlessness. You can take many positive actions to improve the health of your mind.
For starters, it is important you get enough exercise. Most people should exercise at least daily or every other day if they can. You do not have to engage in rigorous activity, even a 15 minute walk around the block may help clear your mind of invasive thoughts.
You should also consider taking steps to reduce the stress that exists in your life. Too much stress can throw the mind out of balance, creating more severe physical and emotional health problems.
Certain meditative practices are wonderful for nourishing the mind and connecting the mind with the body and spirit. Examples include yoga, tai chi and other restorative practices. Any meditative practice that allows you to focus on energizing your mind and spirit will improve your health at every level. When you maximize your mentality, you reduce your risk of catching serious or chronic ailments.
Now let’s connect the mind with the body to see how the two work synergistically to improve your wellness.
The physical body is a reflection of everything we do. How well we eat, whether we use sun protection, how stressed we are… even how well we sleep… all these elements are reflected in our external body.
For example, if you fail to get enough sleep, you may have bags form under your eyes. Your coordination may be off; your skin may look pale. If you eat too many saturated fats and processed foods, your skin may appear dull. If your body is not absorbing nutrients correctly, this could manifest as physical symptoms including dry or brittle hair, or even as mental health symptoms like depression.
Herbal remedies are very useful for helping restore the body’s physical balance.
Aside from proper nutrition, it is important you exercise regularly, get enough sleep and care for your body in a loving way. You should feed your body a diet rich in whole foods, including complex carbohydrates, lean proteins and plenty of fruits and vegetables.
All of these food products contain powerful antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, which combat aging and disease.
Over training is not the answer…
While exercise is good for the body, too much exercise can put the body in a state of distress. This state results from over training, when we don’t allow the body sufficient recovery time after exercising.
Make sure you avoid over training, as this can lead to injury and sabotage a well-intentioned exercise program. Consider taking a 1-2 day break between strength training sessions, and always rotate parts of the body you plan to train.
Make sure you also eat well to help provide your body this nutritional support necessary to fuel a good workout.
The spirit is not the same as our mind. It has to do more with our spiritual outlook on life, the one that supports our emotions, values and beliefs. No matter what your beliefs, you have to tune into them to feel your best and to remain healthy.
While nourishing your body with exercise and your mind with proper food and rest, you can nourish your spirit through meditative practice. Just as yoga is helpful for nourishing the mind,
so too is it helpful for nourishing the spirit. You can engage in yoga or other meditative practices to help heal your spirit and help connect with your higher self. This will help complete your triad of health, ensuring that you are as healthy as you can be mentally, physically and spiritually.
Many people use aromatherapy to heighten their experience during meditative practice. Refer to your Herbal Remedy Handbook to understand how aromatherapy can assist you during meditative or self reflection.

Focus On the Cause
Many herbal remedies can provide palliative care. This is care geared toward clearing up or alleviating one’ symptoms. To truly heal diseases and prevent disease states in the body however, one must determine what problems or reasons cause illness.
For example, common causes of certain illnesses, including depression, include:
• Hormonal imbalances
• Neurotransmitter imbalances
• Poor diet
• Insufficient intake of essential fatty acids
It is important you rely on natural remedies not only to treat your symptoms but also the underlying health problems that result in illness.
Let’s say for example you feel depressed, so you try taking some herbal remedy to relieve your depression. Popular examples include St. John’s Wort or Sam-e. While these herbs and natural remedies may temporarily reduce your symptoms, they will not alleviate the depression permanently because they are not addressing the root cause of the depression.
There are many causes for depression. Your depression or other ailment may have multiple causes. You may be deficient in B vitamins and be under too much stress.
Emotional or spiritual factors can also lead to physical symptoms including depression. Posttraumatic stress disorder for example, can result in depression, aggression or anxiety later in life. These symptoms result from unresolved emotional factors associated with a traumatic experience in life.
The purpose of natural medicine is to help align the three core aspects of our well being… the body, mind and spirit. When we restore balance to each of these areas, our bodies function much more efficiently.
Benefits of Detoxing for Fitness and Health
It seems to be a little disgusting when you are detoxing or cleansing. Your body shows some signs that you have built up toxins. These toxins can affect your whole body fitness and health.
There are times that you feel sluggish and feel the stressful. Your body may experience continuous aching, diarrhea, constipation, and feeling of clumsiness. Rapid weight gain and the incapacity to lose the excess weight can also be signs of having toxins in the body.
Moreover, the toxins found in the body are found and stored on your fat cells. For Americans who are taking the usual American diet, a person may consume 70 trillion garbage cans for each cell. In detoxing your body and cleaning that unwanted garbage in your cells, you should pay attention on your elimination organs.
There are particular organs in your body that deal on cell waste management. These organs play a major role in the Detoxification process for a fit and healthy body.
1. Your liver is the organ that recycles the unwanted chemicals in the body. It sorts out the toxins and places them to the organ for elimination during the process of circulation. The principal elimination organs will back up the liver on where these toxins will be stored and then eliminated.
2. The lymph glands also play an important role in eliminating the toxins. A network of tubing brings out the excess waste of the cells from the body and to the final eliminating organs. The appendix, thymus, tonsil, and spleens are major lymphatic glands that help the major organs of the body in cleansing and detoxing.
3. The kidneys help in the water management of the body. They are the ones that keep the good chemistry of the blood alkaline by eliminating the dissolved acid waste. You can help your kidney to function very well by drinking plenty of water. It is much better if you drink fresh alkaline juices and purified water. You may take ½ ounce of alkaline everyday to see positive results on your body weight.
4. The lungs are the organs that keep the blood air purified. They allow the oxygen to go directly to the bloodstream. It is also responsible in removing waste gases that are found in every cell of the body. Deep breathing and fresh air is very helpful in keeping the lungs healthy and free from toxins. If you are in the urban area, it is recommended that you find an oxygen rich area where you can perform deep breathing.
5. The colon is a solid waste management organ in your body. Medical practitioners have found many people that may have an 80-pound mucus and rubber like solid waste that are found on the walls of the colon.
Detoxing and cleaning the colon can be a real tough thing to do. However, having a free waste colon can certainly provide you good benefits of having a clean and healthy body.
If you are experiencing some signs of detoxification, you may try doing a regular walking exercise. Exercise is a good key in having a fit and healthy body.
Many diet doctors also suggest that you drink plenty of lemon water. This is an effective way of maintaining a very good circulation and can increase the rate of detoxification inside the body.
Benefits of Stretching
The body is flexible. It is supposed to be flexible. You must be able to bend and reach that something you dropped on the floor. You must be able to zip the back of your favorite dress on your own. You must be able to reach that book you need to read at the top shelf.
These are simple activities. Nothing grand about them, you merely stretched out a bit. However, if there are difficulties in doing such simple motions, then you have to stretch your limits. You already need a stretching program.
What Is Stretching?
Stretching is simply the act of extending to full length the body or simply a part of it. This activity involves straightening or stretching the structure or the limbs.
How Does One Do the Stretching?
Stretching is fairly easy. As mentioned in the introduction, it is involved in the normal activities. It can be done by any people, regardless of age.
However the extent of stretching and flexing differs. The muscles tighten as a person ages. The range of joint movements can be minimized. This can very well obstruct an on-the-go lifestyle. That is why as the person grows older, bending or flexing becomes more limited. This is why stretching regularly, as part of a routine is very important.
Simple stretches can be done everyday. It can be incorporated in the lifestyle and the daily activities. It does not require much of your time.
Stretching exercises can also be done while training. Actually, stretching is an essential part of any training or sport. It must be done first before anything else. Stretching the body and the limbs is a good preparation for a more rigorous activity.
Most athletes would do the sit and reach, wherein they position on the floor, extend their legs and reach the tip of their foot with the tip of their hand. Actually, most trainers actually require their athletes to really do the stretching before playing.
There is actually an ideal length of time in stretching. It is best to do it in 10 minutes. This will give the body enough opportunity to move and flex the muscles, thus preparing it for more complicated and strenuous movements.
Experts however would frown upon going way beyond 10 minutes. Stretching the exercise to 30 minutes or more will already wear out the body. This will not be favorable if one is preparing for a game.
What Are the Benefits of Stretching?
1. Increase the Range of Movement
As one constantly do the stretching exercises, the length of the muscles and the tendons are also increased. This will help in increasing the range of your movement. Thus, the limbs and joints will be able to move, way before an injury can take place. You are definitely physically fit.
2. Increased Ability to Perform Skills
When you have a wide range of movement, the more you will be able to do more things. For example, you can jump high without feeling any pain when you land back on the floor. This will also help you start a new sport or improve more if you are in one. Stretching in this aspect also allows you to have a more active lifestyle.
3. Injury Prevention
One can prevent injury to joints, tendons and muscles with stretching. When the muscles and tendons are well-flexed, they are considered in good working order.
This will help in a faster recovery and decreased soreness. The muscles of the body will be able to take more exhausting and rigorous movements with less probability of being injured.
4. Reduce Muscle Tension
If the muscles are given their regular exercises and stretching, it is less likely that they will contract. This will definitely relieve you of any muscle pain or problems.
5. Enhance Energy
Being able to move more will also give you more energy. Stretching will also help enhance your awareness, like knowing that you have a body that is capable of doing many things.
As such, you are going to be more driven to move rather than sulk in the corner.
6. Reduces Cholesterol
Research also shows that doing prolonged stretching exercises, like yoga, will help reduce the cholesterol in the body. This of course must be done with a healthy diet at hand. This could prevent and even reverse the hardening of the arteries, allowing you to avoid coronary diseases.
Incorporate stretching in your everyday lifestyle. It has benefits you can not say no to. It also does not require much. It can be your usual activities, bending and flexing every now and then.
After all, your fitness is everything so do what it takes to keep the body healthy.
Exercise and Hypertension
It seems as though many Americans are living a life that leads to high blood pressure or hypertension. As people age, the situation gets worse. Nearly half of all older Americans have hypertension. This disease makes people five times more prone to strokes, three times more likely to have a heart attack, and two to three times more likely to experience a heart failure.
The problem with this disease is that nearly one third of the folks who have hypertension do not know it because they never feel any direct pain. But overtime the force of that pressure damages the inside surface of your blood vessels.
However, according to experts, hypertension is not predestined. Reducing salt intake, adopting a desirable dietary pattern losing weight and exercising can all help prevent hypertension.
Obviously, quitting bad habits and eating a low fat diet will help, but the most significant part that you can do is to exercise. And just as exercise strengthens and improves limb muscles, it also enhances the health of the heart muscles.
Heart and Exercise
The exercise stimulates the development of new connections between the impaired and the nearly normal blood vessels, so people who exercise had a better blood supply to all the muscle tissue of the heart.
The human heart basically, supply blood to an area of the heart damaged in a “myocardial infarction.” A heart attack is a condition, in which, the myocardium or the heart muscle does not get enough oxygen and other nutrients and so it begins to die.
For this reason and after a series of careful considerations, some researchers have observed that exercise can stimulate the development of these life saving detours in the heart. One study further showed that moderate exercise several times a week is more effective in building up these auxiliary pathways than extremely vigorous exercise done twice as often.
Such information has led some people to think of exercise as a panacea for Heart disease and disorders, a fail-safe protection against hypertension or death. That is not so. Even marathon runners that have suffered hypertension, and exercise cannot overcome combination of other risk factor.
What Causes Hypertension?
Sometimes abnormalities of the kidney are responsible. There is also a study wherein the researchers identified more common contributing factors such as heredity, obesity, and lack of physical activity.
And so, what can be done to lower blood pressure and avoid the risk of developing hypertension? Again, exercise seems to be just what the doctor might order.
If you think that is what he will do, then, try to contemplate on this list and find some ways how you can incorporate these things into your lifestyle and start to live a life free from the possibilities of developing hypertension.
But before you start following the systematic instructions, it would be better to review them first before getting into action.
1. See your doctor
Check with your doctor before beginning an exercise program. If you make any significant changes in your level of physical activity — particularly if those changes could make large and sudden demands on your circulatory system — check with your doctors again.
2. Take it slow
Start at a low, comfortable level of exertion and progress gradually. The program is designed in two stages to allow for a progressive increase in activity.
3. Know your limit
Determine your safety limit for exertion. Use some clues such as sleep problems or fatigue the day after a workout to check on whether you are overdoing it. Once identified, stay within it. Over-exercising is both dangerous and unnecessary.
4. Exercise regularly
You need to work out a minimum of three times a week and a maximum of five times a week to get the most benefit.
Once you are in peak condition, a single workout a week can maintain the muscular benefits. However, cardiovascular fitness requires more frequent activity.
5. Exercise at a rate within your capacity
The optimum benefits for older exercisers are produced by exercise at 40% to 60% of capacity.
Indeed, weight loss through exercise is an excellent starting point if you wan tot prevent hypertension. Experts say that being overweight is linked to an increased risk of developing hypertension, and losing weight decreases the risk.
Amen - Prayer for Health
The vast majority of people belong to one religion or another.
In fact, about 95% of the American population believes in God.
Therefore, when sick or in pain, it is common to pray for health and well being. Does it work? Studies today are focusing on the validity of prayer for health.
The alternative to traditional treatments can be used to help a person both physically and spiritually, but studies are now looking at whether prayer can be used in place of other medical procedures or if it is simply something to use in conjunction with traditional treatment options.
Logically, it is undeniable that prayer can help your with mental conditions.
Overall, the belief in a higher power and heaven gives you a more positive outlook on life and your current medical situation. Stress is relieved and the mind is cleared to make better health decisions.
Those who pray are also joining a larger support group of others who are also religiously inclines, so it brings a sense of community to the person who prays. All of these things can, and in most cases do, improve health and sleeping problems
The question remains, however, if prayer can actually physically bring healing. Studies have been done in which patients were split into three groups—one group received no prayers from a large congregation, one group received these prayers and was told about it, and the last group received these prayers but was told they may or may not receive them.
This blind study was largely inconclusive, and because it could not be determined whether the patients themselves were praying or whether outside friends and family members were praying, it was impossible to control such studies.
As with many alternative therapy options, however, advocates will simply say that it can’t hurt. This is true. Prayer costs nothing and takes little time, so when used in conjunction with typical medical procedures it can only improve the situation.
The medical field began in ancient times as a branch of religion, with many doctors and the nursing staff being religious leaders. Today this is not the case, but most hospitals still employ members of the clergy to visit patients if wanted.
Because studies are inconclusive, it may be very unproductive to use prayer in place of other medical treatment.
Discuss with your doctor and religious leaders the best course of action for you and your medical situation, and if praying makes you feel more positive about your condition, continue the practice.
Benefits of Cardio Training
Being fit and healthy is the in thing. Actually, it really never goes out of style. That body is the most valuable asset you could have in your lifetime. Thus it is important that you take good care of it. Give it the proper attention it needs.
When it comes to ensuring and maintaining the health, the best option is to do cardio training.
What Is Cardio Training?
Cardio training involves any activity that requires the use of the large muscle groups of the body in a regular and uninterrupted manner. It elevates the heart rate between 60 to 85 percent of the fastest heart rate you could get.
Some of the usual cardio training activities are walking, jogging, running, aerobics, cycling, tae bo, swimming and rowing. Cardio training is considered an aerobic exercise as one is required to move from one exercise to another.
What Are the Benefits of Training?
1. Gives Energy to the Body
You can expect more energy and higher endurance after some time of regular cardio training.
2. Prevents Diseases
One could prevent heart diseases with regular cardio training. It is also helpful in preventing other variety of diseases like diabetes, obesity and even high cholesterol. The cardiovascular training strengthens the heart and the lungs. The low to moderated type of cardio exercises are required for people seeking to prevent diseases. Examples of these are walking, brisk walking or jogging.
3. Control Your Weight
With cardio training, you are able to burn more calories. This will help one who needs to lose weight. While those who already achieved their ideal body mass, the training will make it easier to control the weight.
Cardio training helps burn calories. However this generally depends on your current weight and the kind of cardio training you are undergoing.
Better consult this matter with your physician or trainer, to know the proper type of training for your needs.
4. Lose Body Fats
Some people do not have problem with their weights. However, there may be some excess fats that keep bothering. Cardio training will help in getting rid of those. The activities involve the movements of large muscle groups. Regularly doing the training will make you leaner.
5. Get Rid of Boredom
Cardio training is fun. It pumps up your system. You will definitely feel more energized and on the go.
Recommendations to Better Enjoy the Benefits of Cardio Training
Cardio training is essential when you need to make health improvements. For starters, it is best to do the 30 to 45 minutes of exercises, 3 to 5 days a week. If you are aiming for weight loss, the training must be done 5 days a week. The more frequent you do it; the more likely it is that you will lose weight. However, avoid exhausting yourself too much in exercise. Avoid going beyond 45 minutes. Remember, it has to be done in a regular basis.
Start now. Walk or ride the bike around the neighborhood now. Follow that aerobics video you purchased. Set a goal and follow that goal. At the same time, modify your diet too. Eat healthy food.
As you increase in the fitness level, the intensity of the training must also increase. This is to have an area of variation and there should always be room for improvement. Implement this by intensifying some parts of the training. If you are into jogging or running, increase speed every 5 minutes for at least a minute or two. It is important that you challenge yourself, so as not to be stuck in a stump.
Avoid doing the cardio exercises before bedtime. You will have a difficult time sleeping if you do so as the energy level of the body will stay high for sometime.
If you are undergoing weight training too, do the cardio exercises right after, not before.
It is best to take a snack 30 minutes before doing the cardio exercises. Do not start with training in an empty stomach. This will not help in achieving the proper momentum when you train. At the same time, avoid indulging in large meals too before exercise. Just give your body the proper supply it will need to sustain exhausting movements.
It is good to do the cardio exercises outdoors. This way you can easily interact with nature and breathe fresh air. You can also simply enjoy going around the neighborhood as you get your system healthier by the minute. It is possible to make some friends among the people who also do their exercises.
Be consistent and stick with the training once you have started it. This is the only way that cardio training will benefit your body and your health in the long run.
When we become aware of how much we are responsible for our own health, we soon realize that we are responsible for most of the illnesses that we contract. Health is very definitely a positive force and disease is exactly what it says, dis-ease of the body.
In many cases, illness is caused by a faulty diet. We all need tonics to keep the body supplied with certain minerals and vitamins in order to keep our immune system strong and healthy. If the immune system is in good order, then it is able to fight off certain illnesses with which we all come into contact.
Then, if we do pick up a bug, our bodies can respond to the invading organisms much faster and we are able to start the, healing process much more quickly. We may not be able to avoid an illness, but we can influence the length and severity of it. And we can stop the secondary infections that are sometimes part of a specific disease.
We do, however, inherit susceptibilities to certain diseases. As we become more aware of just what our individual weaknesses are, we can begin to treat the body in such a way as to preserve its health. If there is a weakness in the respiratory system, then we know we have to work in order to keep that part as strong as possible.
Because none of the body systems work alone, we must keep all the systems strong, simply because they do work with each other. Just think of your body as being a finely tuned machine. If one part breaks down, the whole machine either breaks down completely or does not work to peak capacity. Life is to be lived to capacity, so the body has to be strong in order to fully enjoy all there is for us to be, do, or have.
Herbs help strengthen the body so it can heal itself faster and in a more natural, healthy way. If you keep your body as free of chemicals as possible,' the herbs have a better chance of getting right to the root of the problem. They can help the body to start working more efficiency in healing that specific disease.
Herbs are not a miraculously fast cure. Many times it does take a little longer for a specific herb to start working because herbs work at treating the underlying causes of the illness and because they do not work on just one specific symptom.
It takes more time to balance several different systems. The herbs help the immune system to get a good balance so that the body is able to help in the healing process.
Tonics do take time to work on the system, so you want to continue the treatment for an extended period of time, to give the body time to adjust. We spend years neglecting the body and then are surprised when it fails to respond as fast as we think it should.
It really does take more time for the body to heal than the length of an illness. You can begin to rise tonics as a way to prevent illnesses instead of just treating a disease after. the fact. Most of the tonics are stimulating, so if someone has been very ill, it is not a good idea to give tonics that are strong stimulants.
Using herbs to tone up your body is just one of the ways you can take responsibility for keeping the body in good working condition. I feel that it is one of the most important things you can do for yourself.
The herbs tone up the organs that are affected by the digestive system. This helps your body to use all the natural vitamins and minerals that you get when you are careful to provide it with natural products and foods.
Just as the herbs can help us be balanced internally, we must look at ways we can be balanced externally, in our daily lives. All the money in the world cannot take the place of your health, and this is where balance in your lifestyle comes into play.
I'm sure you have heard it said that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Well, all play and no work can do the same thing. There should be time in your life for everything: work, play, quiet time, pleasure, people, love, and many other joys. Be not a slave to anyone activity and you will have some measure of control over your life.
Learn to stop and smell the roses. Even though that is old advice, it is still good advice.
No one else is as vitally interested in preserving our health and the health of our families as we are. We know how we want our foods, and what we want in our foods better than anyone.
When we preserve or prepare our own foods, we can take precautions to ensure that the foods and herbs are handled properly and in a hygienic manner. We can make sure that what we ingest is as natural as possible.
What could be more natural than adding tonics to our daily life? Tonics are good to take all year. They can become part of your health-protecting diet. And they can really pick you up when you are feeling sluggish

Are YOU caught in a natural energy shortage?
Sometimes, the demands of modern life seem to require an endless supply of energy. It’s hard enough just trying to squeeze everything in, then finding the energy to actually do everything presents a whole other obstacle. Even when we try to lead healthy, balanced lives, the energy our bodies need may not be there to sustain us.
So where do we find the energy to accomplish everything so we can meet our goals and live our dreams? Here’s a short course on what your body needs to produce energy and how you can get more of it.
Connect with carbs:
Our bodies produce energy from our food intake, drawing from its nutrients to fuel our activities. Carbohydrates are the type of food that provide the most efficient fuel. That’s because carbohydrate-rich foods are converted into muscle glycogen, which burns quickly to give us instant energy.
However, there are healthy carbohydrates and ones that are less beneficial to the body. Fruits and vegetables are healthy carbohydrates. Refined grains are carbohydrates that have been robbed of many of their nutrients.
Even a “healthy muffin” can be high in fat and packed with calories, so be mindful of which carbohydrates you choose.
Whether you have an active lifestyle or you’re an athlete, you may need to pay more attention to your carbohydrate intake. Protein also plays a key role because it is needed to muscle maintenance.
To make sure you have adequate energy to function at your peal. Try grabbing a snack 30 minutes before a workout or take a carb break if your routine lasts more than 30 minutes.
Your daily energy source.
Even if you’re not particularly active, you still need to make sure your body receives the right type of balanced carbs it required to keep you going strong. Using Herbalife’s formula 12 shake is a simple way to ensure you receive the right amount of ealiy digestible carbohydrates daily.
One shake provides you with carbohydrates for quick stamina plus 9 grams of soy protein. It’s a simple away to make sure you get the carbs you need to help you through the day. As part of Herbalife’s weight management programme, formula 1 shakes contain just enough carbs to keep you from feeling energy depleted, but not enough to add kilos.
When you need extra vitality, turn to herbal boosters like Thermojetics Instant Herbal Beverage. Made with green tea, Thermojetics creates an energising effect by helping stimulate metabolism, a process that also helps burn calories.
NRG tables are another excellent herbal booster with an invigorating, energising effect. This product uses herbal ingredients like guarana, a natural herb used for centuries by the Amazon Indians, to keep you feeling alert and energised.
Depending on your needs, you may want to rely on a carb source for muscular energy and a herbal source for an invigorating, focusing effect.
Now that you know your options you can leave that tires our feeling behind. Tap into these sources and feed your need for energy every day.
The NEW Development in Weight Management and Energy!
Scientists believe the concept of thermogenisis is the most exciting news from weight management research in fifty years.
Thermogenisis, meaning the generation of heat, is a normal process, like digestion, in which the body’s brown adipose (fatty) tissue (BAT) burns up the calories your body doesn’t need, thus creating a natural energy.
Being overfat or obese, occurs primarily when BAT is not functioning properly, and the body must deal with excess calories by storing them as white fat.
Scientists have discovered that by combining specific amounts of certain “totally natural” thermogenetic substances, it is possible to create a basically new compound with an “amazingly safe” thermogenetic action!
THERMOGENISIS WILL DO THE FOLLOWING:
* Prevent dietary lipids from being stored as white fat * Convert current white fat back into soluble lipids to be burned off * Burn off the soluble lipids * Increase the body’s energy by increasing the flow of blood, oxygen and nutrients to muscle tissue, . . . and * Remove the craving for high calorie food that causes the problem in the first place
WHAT PEOPLE EXPERIENCE . . .
* Clarity of thinking * Increased energy * Good for hangovers * Feeling of well being * Weight loss * Size loss * Improved sex drive (due to energy increase)
NOTE: BEST RESULTS WHEN FOLLOWING A SENSIBLE EATING ROUTINE.
The Herbalife weight management programmes are effective when used in conjunction with a calorie controlled eating plan and depends on your personal metabolism.

Warren Tattersall has been a nutritional consultant since the early 1990’s and has had had experience with nearly any and all health issues you could think of.
He has a website that is a wonderful resource for understanding health issues and more specifically how nutritional support can have a positive impact on wellness issues. It is worth checking it out at www.TheHealthSuccessSite.com
We asked Warren what light he can shed on Natural health remedies and nutrition products to achieve your Mind Body Spirit Balance:
“Nutrition support CAN make a big difference to your keeping your Mind-Body-Spirit in balance”
Over more than a decade of working with nutrition supplementation I have found and interesting phenomena. If your general wellness is high then your immune system is able to better protect you. A lot of people with health problems find that the symptoms diminish and even disappear when the sufferer uses a strong nutrition program.
The same thing happens in many cases for people with more specific health problems. I am not taking about treating symptoms in this case and taking supplements that ease the effect of their health challenges. I’m talking about increasing your core wellness and about the problem diminishing or even disappearing from your life.
The following is my summary of how nutrition affects the quality of your health overall, covering so many health issues, that it is clear to me that if you put pure herbal based health foods into your body, that is capable of being absorbed on a cellular level, you WILL experience relevant improvements in your health.
Nutrition and General Health Indicators
Do You Have Any Indicators Of Health Problems?
A lot of people look at the information about nutrition and how the body breaks food down and absorbs it through the villi, putting it into the blood stream to deliver it to their cells and say, “That just makes sense”.
There is a big step though from knowing how the body does this to understanding that each of us need to be taking some personal action to give our bodies what they need for optimum performance.
Our body is like a very high performance car. Given proper fuel and servicing it will perform increasable. Given lower standard fuel than it is designed to run on then it will still work, it will still get you from point A to point B on your journey through life but it will be a little sluggish, lacking acceleration, stutter and hesitate when it should be performing at it’s best.
This sounds a little simplistic but it is not. Our body is a very powerful and very sensitive machine, the most complicated organism on the planet. As it grows it adjusts to your needs. If you exercise it, it will give hard muscles and power, if you stretch it then it will become flexible, if you cut it then it will heal, if you damage it from bad living, maybe liver damage from too much alcohol then stop
dinking and give good cleansing food and supplements and the body will repair your liver to a point where it functions normally!! It is a quite incredible machine.
Like a high performance car though, if you use it and do not look after it then there will be some problems. If you use poor fuel in a car and you do not service it then you will clog up the fuel lines and lower the performance. If you eat high fat foods an do not do something to keep your blood clean then you will normally build layers of fat on the inside of your arteries making it more difficult for your heart to pump blood through them and so increasing blood pressure.
If your car gauges show that temperature is increasing then you had better check out what the problem is. If you find your blood pressure is increasing then you had better check that out as well.
If you ignore increased blood pressure then you may find that the stress on the engine causes it to seize up and fail. In your body this is called a heart attack and it will damage you and you may well die.
There are herbal and nutrition supplements that deal directly with the build up of fats in your arteries. Others work with the digestive system and help to heal everything from irritable bowel syndrome to duodenal ulcers. Hormonal issues like PMT/PMS for ladies and change of live symptoms can be greatly supported and often cleared up with correct supplementation (here I am talking about traditional Chinese herbs that have been used for many thousands of years).
What I am saying is that keeping our body health can be compared to keeping a high quality car running properly. To get optimum performance you need to pay a little attention to it and not ignore warning signs that are telling you that something needs to be attended to,
From here you can link to our A to Z list of health problems to check up in what is troubling you and see what suggestions are there about nutrition support that may assist you. “Your Health Online”
Wellness and Sickness
Like the high performance car we were talking about your body can perform better it everything is in order.
If the tyres of the car are worn and do not have proper grip on the road surface they will still work fine when you are traveling down a straight road.
When it comes to turning a corner at speed it is a different matter.
If the tires are in great condition and you drive hard around a corner fast then the car will do its job.
If the tires are in bad condition and you drive the same way then the car will slip, slide and you may well come completely off the road and end up in a big crash.
It is the same with your body.
I do not full understand asthma. I know that for a lot of people, especially children, it comes and goes, there are good days and bad days. Normally there is something that triggers the condition, pollen in the air, dust, dust mites, stress, any number of things.
I have seen many, many people with this problem who get onto a range of nutrition supplements who improve their overall wellness and their asthma goes away.
This is not a cure for the asthma but, like good tires on the car, when the body is well then it can handle conditions better and it seems that the body can handle the trigger factors that set of the asthma better. When you have seen 50 people with asthma who get onto supplements to improve their overall health and wellness and nearly all of them find that they need to use their puffers less often and most find they no longer need to use their puffers and fill their bodies with chemicals to treat their asthma, when you see this you come to respect the power of the body to keep you healthy if you do your own bit and keep the body well.
Asthma is just one example. The same thing applies to simple things. If you are very well and working in the winter with people with colds quite often you either do not catch a cold or, if you do, it clears up quickly. If you are run down and your overall wellness is low then when someone on the other side of the room sneezes you catch a cold and when you do catch it then it tends to hang around for ages.
How does your body react when you put it under stress? How well can it stand outside pressures, and all the damaging things modern society throws at us every day, is directly related to our level of wellness. If we have dynamic health, if we have a reserve of energy and strength and our body is not working flat out just to keep us going then we can withstand problems much better
Giving the body the tools it needs to keep your level of wellness as high as possible just makes sense. You service your car, you need to service your body also.
If You Are Not Sick, Does That Mean You Are Well?
What is the difference between health and wellness? What is the difference between wellness and dynamic wellness?
Getting out of bed every day and doing what you need to do to survive so that you can go to bed at night is survival, not living.
Having enough energy to be able to get up and do your daily tasks with enough energy to do them easily it a much better way to live.
Life is more interesting and you have the capacity to go beyond your normal routine and meet a friend for a drink or get to the library for a book or to get that extra job done around the house. Life is much more pleasant when you have enough energy to do normal things without having to push yourself.
Dynamic energy is bouncing out of bed ready to face the day. Having the energy to stride up the steps, rather then taking the lifts, and not be panting and puffing at the top. Energy to just live well.
This comes from a combination of nutrition and exercise. Exercise comes from activity, you cannot buy a supplement to give you that but, when you are tired, most people do not get around to doing the exercise.
I suggest you look at getting your body systems in order through the use of proper nutrition and supplementation and then build on the extra energy to put in place a sensible exercise routine to take yourself to the next level.
This is not something for fit young people alone. Medical authorities tell us that there is no reason why someone 75 years old who breaks a bone should take any longer to heal than someone who is 30 years old!
If you are 70 then you would be more than a little silly to be doing 100 meter sprints but if you set up a sensible exercise routine to get your fitness levels above the level you need for your daily living then you have spare energy and life is a much more pleasant experience.
One of the key factors in having good health is to have your overall level of wellness high. Many people who have smaller health problems also have a range of other problems, and are generally out of balance overall. If we are able to get your general wellness high then working with your body to repair everything else is much easier.

While I would never advocate making any change to medication without consulting your doctor, it is worth reviewing what nutritional support to build your overall wellness and support your immune system can do to help your body to help itself.
If there is a natural way to deal with your health problems in the longer term then it stands to reason that dealing with the problem with supplementation rather than medication must be better for you in the longer term
In the short term you must control your problem. If you are sick you go to your doctor and the medication that you are given can control the problem, improve your condition, even save your life. It is a very good thing.
In the longer term your overall health both now and in your old age may be better supported by finding a more natural way to deal with your problems.
